making dust
ashes to ashes and dust to dust. making dust is my personal creation story.
my sculpture is a modern-era tale of enlightenment. it may simply be my own illumination that is achieved - i can live with that. if my visual description is persuasive, the viewer will see a glimmer of light radiating from these forms and then look inside themselves for their meaning.
my sculpture is the expression of the universal energy i tap into. that energy flows through and around each one of us. i depend on the natural forces around me to be my guide. the energy of the stone. the whisper of the wind. the ancient ones coaxing me onward. it is my privilege to listen.
i hope that others will hear their own truth echoing from these stones, their own version of this age-old story.

my sculpture has always been my personal meditation. sculpture, in my mind, is what makes me a vital part of society. by sculpting i am sharing my true heart with others, with this communication there are no set boundaries there is only the raw nature of intimate contact. words do not express the meaning of my work... there is no tangible meaning. hopefully there is an experience of feeling... emotional, physical, mental, spiritual. my desire this lifetime has been to positively contribute to this planet, sculpture is my medium to accomplish this.
